Sahrho is a mountain range in southern Morocco. It is located south of the High Atlas and east of the Anti-Atlas in the northwest of Africa, northeast of Taliouine and southwest of Ouarzazate.
We leave Marrakech at 08h00, embarking for the Saghro mountains. Along our voyage of 300 kms, we go through the Tichka Pass and enjoy a break in Ouarzazate village. When we arrive, we stack the donkeys and set off for a short walk to our first night’s convenience in a Berber house (gite).
Today’s adventure is a simple walking trek that takes around 5 hours altogether. We go through the oasis of Tifdassine (1210m) before we get to our camp close to Irhazzoune n’Imlass.
We walk along the Amguis Valley through the village of Amguis (1400m) and on past fascinating rock arrangements. Subsequent to walking around 6 hours,we arrive at Boilouz where we camp at the oasis.
We climb 700m to Tassigdelt, passing the little village of Igli . After a walk of around 6 hours, we touch base at our camp at Tassigdelt.
Today we get to the summit of Kouaouch, which is 2600 meters high. Here, we enjoy a break then we plummet to our campground at 2300m, where we touch base after having walked for 6 hours.
We cross Iferd (2450m) and walk down to the Dades Valley, from where we get our vehicle for a 6 to 7 hours venture back to Marrakech.
